Tassels can be anywhere from 3-12" long. The shorter tinsels shown in these pics are around 5-6" long and the long blue pair is about 11" long. 
 
Hang earrings when not wearing them to help keep proper shape. Very gently detangle with a fork when needed. All party earrings are custom made and take 5-10 days to ship.
